Even in defeat D Srinivas is playing politics. He is in a way being true to his profession. The politician knows that his detractors are gunning for his throat and so he has now raised a boogey by getting a few of his supporters to be more vociferous. Even as the voices of his resignation from the PCC post increase he has made sure that a few chamchas do not support such voices. He is playing the Telangana card here too and has effectively for the time being saved his cahir. It needs to be seen how long this tamasha will go on. What worth is a vanquished leader in democratic politics?
